Ready NAS 104 USB backup not working
Im trying to do a backup job on my readynas from a 3Tb external drive to the readynas but all seems to fail from every USB port... I use VirtualHere app on the readynas itself and it sees the external drive and can mount it in Windows 10 but as for using the usb hard drive to do a backup just from the readynas fails says source path cannot be accessed... I can not reformat the 3Tb because it’s my only backup of data and the only way I found around it was to do a share in Windows 10 and backup that way was wanting to do though usb 3 as it would be much faster in speed

What format is the drive? The ReadyNAS does not recognize EXFAT.

That should certainly work. I wonder if VirtualHere is somehow getting in the way of the GUI seeing it.
