Ready NAS 316 version 6.2.2 to the newest 6.10.9 upgrade
Hey all, is there anything I need to know before trying to upgrade from a very old version on a 316 version 6.2.2 to 6.10.9 ?
It does not say I need to go to any other version before going to 6.10.9 but I wanted to check before trying that. I have been wanting to upgrade for a long time, but did not have the space to backup my NAS to anywhere else before the upgrade so was very hesitant.

It should work, though you might consider doing a factory default afterwards, recreating the shares, and restoring from backup. They did make some changes to how the file system was set up some years back now, and I think you'll get a little better performance if you do that.
Do you have any apps installed? If you do, which ones?
