Ready NAS Ultra 2 - "No volume available"

Hi,

All of a sudden and judging from the log my volumes were "lost" during/after an automatic firmware update. Using the RAIDar Tool it seems i can add back one of my two 2TB Seagate Disks i.e. is the other seemingly unavailable. I am not sure how to proceed to get this back to how i had it. I was not running RAID and do have backup on an external drive so it is not a disaster as such, but annoying. Suppose i have the following questions:
- Is there any way to recover the old setup and data?
- If not, and given i have to add the new volumes - how do i get the seemingly non-available disk to work? Is it invisible because it is dead?
- How did this happen?

Kind Regards,
Anders

Odd that it would update to 4.2.26 twice.

Could you open an online support case?
  • Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I suspect the second update was triggered by me looking around and making sure there was nothing wrong with the upgrade. How do I open an line support case?

    Kind regards,
    Anders
