ReadyNas 102 - dead following firmware upgrade + factory reset doesnt work

Also, for clarity, when I do a factory reset (as shown in this youtube video - https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=readynas+102+factory+reset&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_aw9PYvOsNtfxkgWW7buoCA19 ) I get to the bit where the power light flashes rapidly for a few seconds (@3min 55) but then it does not go to the slow flashing (@4min 05)
