Update - I can finally get the admin page to work. Looks like the problems are due to the device having lost the volumes. I'll plug the drives into another computer to investigate. The RN also reported a stack of ATA errors, of course no idea if it's the drive or RN at fault yet.

Download the log zip file first from the logs page. There are clues in there, and it is best to capture the logs before the errors rotate out of them.
Did your NAS experience an unexpected power cut? If not, did you do an unclean shutdown?
Inactive volumes can be a result of failed disks, but also can be a result of the volume being out-of-sync due to lost (cached) writes.
