Did you try a second factory reset?

After long trying, I've been able to do a full factory reset. I had also 1 disk (with errors - so I replaced it).
When the factory reset was done, the system made a new RAID, and I could access it via an old Opera version.
It seems this old NAS doesn't support HTTPS? I didn't find a way to generate an SSL certificate?
One fan is broken, I need to find spare parts for this, but is also hard to find...
If someone has some advice, please shoot!

But more likely your issue is because the NAS only supports TLS 1.0, and current browsers have deprecated that. There is a long thread on the subject here:
There is an add-on you can install (courtesy of WhoCares_ ) here:

Regarding the fan:
First make sure it's really the fan by swapping two connections and seeing the problem follows the fan.
Most (maybe all) of the rack-mount units are actually built for Netgear by another company. Unfortunately, the 1000, 1100, 1500, and 2100 are the ones I'm unsure about. I think they may be by Chenbro, since the caddies resemble a type Chenbro used and Netgear has used them for other units (the OS6 rack-mount ones). So if you can't find a replacement fan just based by the manufacturer info on it, see if you can find one for a Chenbro that looks right.
And please report here what you find (successful or not) in case others find themselves in your shoes.
