Hi
The mybook has no user credentials, its all open to any user. The mybook is not used for anything else apart from backup for ReadyNAS
all file permissions are fine from a local PC, i have 4 backup jobs all the same from the nas to the mybook.
all are regular backups through the week then every 4 weeks they will remove the content and do full back up.
Its only when the remove content and full back up runs i get the error message. So it must be struggling to remove a folder and cant write the files again. The mybook is slow for file transfer so this could be the issue. The ReadyNas is deleting the files and tries to write before the Mybook has deleted them.

Though it could be timing as you suggest, I'm thinking you might also want to try creating a user on the mybook that does have full permission to the files/folders, and then add those credentials to the backup job.
You could also test the timing theory by backing up a small share with the "remove content" option set.
