ReadyNAS 2304 alert settings not woring

recently the alerts have not been working. I tried to contact Netgear, but the product is EOL and I have no one to contact for support on this issue. In the  "LOG" list I just get a yellow "unable to send alert" line.

 

Model: ReadyNAS 2304

F/W 6.10.1

    Likely you need to switch to an app-specific password.

     

    Are you using gmail?
