What does it mean when all the lights are blinking on your ReadyNAS 424? I had to pull the power plug to reboot. It rebooted fine buy I had no connection to use the website to reboot and the button ...

Have you checked RAIDar for the status of the NAS? Can you download the logs from RAIDar and send it to us through PM?
Regards
I tried replying to your message with the logs (they downloaded from the admin page in a zip file), but the reply application won't accept a zip file. I tried PMing you by clicking on your name but the PM reply has no file attachment mechanism. I also searched my ReadyNAS page for RAIDar but found nothing. Sorry, but could you give me more detailed instructions or a link to them?

You put the zip in cloud storage (google drive, dropbox, etc), and send a link in the PM. That avoids the need for any attachments.

Ok... thanx! That expains it. I will have to set something up as I do not use cloud storage solutions. I'll post a link as soon as I have somethings.

Turns out I did have a google drive account I set up quite some time ago and used once or twice, but forgot about. I uploaded the log file... here is the link: <REDACTED>
I have never done this before so hope it works, lol.
Regards and thanx in advance

Send it in the private message, don't post it publicly!
I redacted the public link. BTW, it did work.

Since I had a link, I did take a quick look. Wait for the mods though, as they are more practiced than me on sorting them.
I'm not seeing any problems - other than quite a few
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -512
and some
CIFS VFS: Send error in QFSAttributeInfo = -512Also, you seem to be running on a fast ethernet link, not the usual gigabit. Likely not an error, but I'm mentioning it just in case.
