ReadyNAS 428 memory upgrade

I've been looking around and haven't been able to determine if the memory on the 428 is upgradable.

I've seen that the 2 and 4 bay 4-series has soldered on memory. Hoping this is not the case for the 428

Thanks

    Hi @leo037

All RN420 series memory are soldered. That goes with RN428 Smiley Sad

For desktop units I'm not sure if there still are chassis where you can upgrade the RAM.

As per Frank888 RN426 and RN428 does have extra memory slots so that one is a correction, RN422 and RN424 memories are soldered.

    Thanks for this Frank8888

    Regards
