ReadyNAS and NetGear Suck!!
What seemed to be a cool product has turned out to be crap. The drive HCL is old and outdated. None of the drives listed are current models and are only available online. My Ultra 4+ just reboots all ...
There is a procedure to use WDIDLE3 on the ReadyNAS: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=59700
If you choose to follow that procedure I suggest you:
1. Backup all data
2. Follow that procedure
3. After verifying it worked, do a factory default (see http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu)
