If you're considering a DAC then it is reasonable to assume you are looking for very good quality sound and most people using such devices tend not to want a noisy NAS sitting immediately next to their audio equipment.
You should look at something like the Logitech Touch which can act as a controller between NAS and DAC, and is a well tested method of achieving what you desire, including control possibilities, streaming directly from you NAS and more which you haven't specified.
