The back of my ReadyNAS has an upper larger fan and the lower smaller fan that is part of the power supply. This smaller fan extends perhaps half inch out from the back. Included on the back (at the lower right corner) are the power switch and the (female) power socket.
In the unit referenced at newegg the fan is on one surface of the power supply and the switch and socket are on another side.
How can this be used to replace the original?
(I have photos, but I don't know how to upload them.)
