From is undoubted a form field (if not using the generated keys). But of course it has to be a valid email address for the email sender.

In case you used the access token generated before, use the [Clear] and enter the details again, including the dedicated App password generated. And don't forget to tick the [x] Use TLS, too. Works like a charm since about 2019 since Google does enforce App passwords.

Once I "cleared" the previous details, the Google button was enabled and I just had to log into my google account and it set everything up automatically (as shown below)
Is there a way to change the "From" field to read something like "NAS 1", as I have 2 of these and would like an easy way of identifying which alert is for which device?
All the fields are greyed out and not open for editing. If I sign out and generate an App password for this device and manually enter all the values, and specify "NAS 1" in the from field, then I get same error as previously. Isnt the from field simply a label? Thanks.
