Frankly, you made a huge mistake. That NAS is very much out of date and starting now with one is just asking for problems. It does not support TLS above 1.0, which Windows will now not allow, nor does it support anything above SMB1, which is normally disabled in Windows now but can be enabled.
There are work-arounds posted in the forum for these issues. But to start now with a 15+ year old NAS with these issues is just not something you should consider. Even those who have had their units for some time and want to keep them a little longer should looking to upgrade before the work-arounds stop working.
