i don't know for certain that the PSU is dead but it looks like it. i get no lights at all, unresponsive.

If you have a suitable linux machine (with enough connections for the disks) you could do this: http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=306
Note you can use a linux boot CD with an ordinary PC.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I still need to get replacement storage up and running, and my personal life is in the way. If i get it working i'll let you know about it....
