Readynas NV+ question please
I tried to do the reset at the back (to try skip the quota check) but accidentally started the FW reset before pulling out the power. I found the bad disk and pulled it out but now it seems the c: d...

Do you mean that you started the OS reinstall? Or that you started the factory default?
Are you able to get into frontview? If so, did you need to use netgear1 as the password?

R-Studio can recover the data (among other RAID recovery software packages).

I inserted the pin into the reset hole and then when I released it, it said something about the repairing or reinstalling the "FW". I immediately pulled out the power but I think the damage had been done. So does this mean the disks are now useless or will that software you recommended be able to recover the data?
FYI - I think Disk 1 was bad which started the whole chain of events. When I remove disk 1, the readynass boots but when I try go into Frontview it says it can't connect and when i try access the files, it tells me it cannot find C:
Actually, re-installing the firmware would have done nothing to your data had you allowed it to continue. A Factory Default, however, does. Pulling the power while the volume is being accessed can, especially since it seems like you might have already lost redundancy with a bad drive. But it sounds to me like you may have already had a corrupted volume (prompting you to try skipping the volume check) and its the power cycle that caused it to go one step farther, not the selection you made with that cycle.

No idea. The only way to tell is to try it.
You'd of course need a way to connect all the disks to a Windows PC -likely usb-sata adapters or dock(s). You can download R-Studio prior to purchase, and see if it sees any of your data files.
