ReadyNAS NV+ [X-RAID]
Hi All I have old Netgear NAS NV+ with 4 bay. Work only 2 bay. Any one have idea why 2 others bay are unactive??
Always the same two, or it will only handle two drives (in any two slots)?
If the former, probably a bad SATA backplane, but could be the SATA controller on the main board as well. Not repairable except by replacing the bad board.
If the latter, a power issue. But IMHO, replacing the power supply in an NV+ isn't worth the investment.
