Readynas Pro 4 memory upgrade
Hello, Sorry for my english, it's not my native language. I plan tu upgrade my Readynas pro 4 from 1gb to 4gb. It's a stupid question, but where is the memory slot ? I change the fan few mon...
I forget to take picture, but the ram slot is on the top.
So I put 4gb instead of 1 (G skill F2-6400CL6S-4GBSQ), and it's working great, not issue running memtest, etc.
This picture is for something else, but it does show the memory slot. BTW, Patriot PSD28G800K works well in my Pro-6.
Keep the original memory - Netgear might deny support. It's a good idea to run the memory diagnostic for a while after the upgrade.
Yes I intend to keep the original one :)
