One other question. Do I need an ATX extender as the Seasonic psu comes already with one?
I have purchased the Seasonic supply from two different sources, and neither came with an extender. Are you sure you are looking at the right one? The Flex ATX ones, which can be modified to work with the 4-bay legacy NASes, have an adapter that goes from the standard to a mini ATX connector, which may look like an extender in an ad. But that's not the one you want for a 6-bay unit; you need the SFX one. The only adapter that came with it is a bracket to allow it to be mounted in a standard ATX case.
