This looks like a power supply issue - unfortunate timing, but perhaps linked to the extra load of rebuilding the RAID array. Perhaps Sandshark will confirm.
The PSU is something you can replace.

removed all disks...same result ... the unit upgraded firmware without problem... shut down... and then no reboot
