Rear USB ports? #24828273
I can't get the rear USB ports on my ReadyNAS 314 to work.
Plugging in a couple of different 2.5" USB ext drives (Toshiba 1.5Tb, WD 2.0Tb) yields no success - no drive power light, no recognition of the drive in Frontview.
Front port recognises a USB thumb drive no issues.
Any ideas why?

Yes - and confirmed working on a PC.
Running 6.2.2 ReadyOS too.- See if installing the BIOS update helps: https://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=75513
The BIOS update includes an update to the firmware for the USB3 ports (which are the USB ports on the rear of the NAS). - I might lodge an official ticket - not keen on downloading a firmware from someone's dropbox account.
