Rear USB ports? #24828273

I can't get the rear USB ports on my ReadyNAS 314 to work.

Plugging in a couple of different 2.5" USB ext drives (Toshiba 1.5Tb, WD 2.0Tb) yields no success - no drive power light, no recognition of the drive in Frontview.

Front port recognises a USB thumb drive no issues.

Any ideas why?

If you download your logs, what is the date in bios_ver.log?

So the USB disks are bus powered?

Yes - and confirmed working on a PC.

    Running 6.2.2 ReadyOS too.
  • I might lodge an official ticket - not keen on downloading a firmware from someone's dropbox account.
