recovering files from a RN314 that is no longer online
Is thre a way to connect a 2018 Mac Mini running Mojave OS to thIs unit with it offline in order to extract files from it?
It has been replaced as the main server at work, but apparently not 100% of the files got transferred to the new drive and I need to get into the drives somehow if at all possible.
You can connect the two with an Ethernet cable (cross-over is not required) and set the Mac to an IP address in the same subnet as the IP the NAS displays, but it would be easier to just re-connect the NAS to the network temporarilly.
