my snapshots are not showing up in the GUI. Your post did not list the way to force it via SSH. Can you post those? Thanks.

Sometimes, this will work:
touch /.force_snapshots_upgrade systemctl restart readynasd
If it doesn't, then you have to go into SSH and specifically delete the snapshots. See StephenB's response in this thread: https://community.netgear.com/t5/New-ReadyNAS-Users-General/Could-not-delete-share-due-to-snapshot-deletion-failure/m-p/2238160/highlight/true#M49039
