RN10400 USB Recovery/firmware update
Hello everyone,
sorry to bother you about something I feel it's simple but I really have no clue how to solve it.
I tried to update my RN10400 a couple days ago and the update blocked and now the Nas isn't working. I contacted the support and they told me to do what is on this website: https://kb.netgear.com/29952/How-do-I-use-the-USB-Recovery-Tool-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6-storage-system#
The problem is, I have no clue what the Firmwall is and where to download it and such. I searched on the website and in other discussions but i didn't find anything.
Can I ask you for help?
Kind regards,
Daniela

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the ReadyNAS products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with NAS products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.

Do you know what firmware the NAS is running now? (6.x.x).
Normally you'd recover the same software you were running before. You can move forward to the current firmware, but if your firmware is very old you might not be able to jump all the way to the current firmware.
