So I'm looking at this on Amazon, are the drives covered for 5 years, and have NBD replacement?

The chassis and the drives that are bundled with the NAS have a separate hardware warranty. The 5 years hardware warranty with NBD replacement only covers the chassis.Enterprise disks have 5 year warranty while desktop disks have 3 years warranty. You may check this link for reference.

Yeah, ok, so its free NBD on any failed drive for 5 years if its an enterprise drive? And free NBD on any failed drive for 3 years for other drives?

Only the ReadyNAS chassis has the complimentary NBD replacement. The hard drives are not covered by it.
