RN516 - Boot Loop after power outage

Have you tried removing the disks (labeling by slot), and then power up? Just to see if the loop is somehow disk-related?

Try booting without drives first. If that works, it's unlikely a USB recovery id going to help.
But I did see a similar symptom that was cured by a USB recovery. The 516's with the latest BIOS (like the one I saw it on) don't need you to play tag with the button to boot from USB, so it was easy for me. If yours is older, then I think it's just a matter of multiple tries till you somehow get it right. Netgear obviously recognized there was a problem with that USB recovery scheme and fixed it in the later BIOS, but loading a new BIOS was not made available because, as I understand it, what version you came from made a difference as to the process needed.
