RN516 and printing to an HP LaserJet 4P.
Using ReadyNAS 516 with OS Vers 6.2.2 and wish to print from the NAS to an old printer HP LaserJet 4p. The NAS box only uses USB connections, and the LJ 4P has either Centronics or RS232C connections...

The response was that there is NO PLAN to have printing available from the new ReadyNAS OS 6.
They have discussed it since 2012/13 when OS6 was released.
I thought that printing was a feature of the previous versions, so WHY remove a feature?
It was one of the reasons that I bought the RN516, as I had seen reviews of previous products and thought that the latest product would be better, NOT take away one of the features that I specifically wanted.
Presumably those people currently printing from a previous OS will find that the printing just does not work on upgrade.
