RN516 and printing to an HP LaserJet 4P.
Using ReadyNAS 516 with OS Vers 6.2.2 and wish to print from the NAS to an old printer HP LaserJet 4p. The NAS box only uses USB connections, and the LJ 4P has either Centronics or RS232C connections...

Hello again Stephen ... having responded to my other post, the above gladdens my heart ... some good news at last.
I current use CUPS with all of the household just printing to the default printer which is CUPS driven from my Ubuntu Pentium 3 system.
I set it up years ago and it just works and works and works. I like things like that. I will give it a go, thanks.
Can I close these posts so that nobody else can contribute, or is that not a good idea (I am new to these forums)
