RN516 and printing to an HP LaserJet 4P.
Using ReadyNAS 516 with OS Vers 6.2.2 and wish to print from the NAS to an old printer HP LaserJet 4p. The NAS box only uses USB connections, and the LJ 4P has either Centronics or RS232C connections...

The lady I 'spoke' to was very definite, and knew straight away that this HAD been discussed a while ago, on more than one occasion, and had definitely been 'rejected'. To me it seemed like 0 % chance of it being implemented.
However, I am new to ReadyNAS and have no idea what politics/pressure can be brought to bear on what is essentially a 'simple' software engineering problem (implemented in most other OSs). Maybe it could be made to happen. I am one little person who spent a lot of time trying to find the best solution to his problem, spent a lot of money on it, only to find it does not do some of the basic fundamental functions one would take for granted. If I sound slightly cheesed, it is because I am.
Am I the first person to 'want' a printing facility that has mentioned this in the forum?
