  • Oh my god thanks I didn't remerber this functionality.......................... I'm a F.... newbie... Yes it works, I'll probably change the fan for a noctua 'cause it's always a little bit noisy (for my wife ^^) but it's ok. Thank you all for your time and have a nice weekend!

FYO I've changed the PSU 'cause it broke down (THE problem of this NAS...) and I've bought this 80+ PSU : http://www.ebay.fr/itm/191320447031?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT . It works well and it have a better cooling system. If It can help someone who have this problem... :)

Try a power off and reboot again

If that fails try a OS Re-install (NOT A FACTORY RESET) using the Boot Options

See here for how to do it http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21104

These worked for me on my PRO 4

Recommending an OS reinstall is such a bad idea when you're stuck booting. Please don't jump directly to OS reinstalling.

You might be having a disk failure. Check the front top of the chassis for a blinking disk, if possible. If you had alerts setup, find out which disk is the bad disk, you might be able to just pull that one disk out and boot normally.

Make sure you always have a backup of your data.

I didn't recommend an OS IS Re-install, I suggested another attempt at a Reboot, which if it fails "TRY" an OS Re-Install

ummmm do we know how many disks are installed?

Check the LCD for a blinking disk

ummm are you sure that is where to look......on the LCD?

Don't you mean a flashing LED?

Make sure you have a backup of your data.

How can you do that with a NAS that won't boot?

A bit late in the day to recommend that
