Part of the confusion stems from the fact that when the RNDP6xxx-200 model replaced the -100 model, there was no 6000 diskless. However, customer demand prevailed and they started selling them that way several months later. But they have been available for a while.
Amazon has them for $970 selling them directly. They call it the ReadyNAS Pro 6 Unified. I don't know where the Unified came from, but it is the ReadyNAS Pro 6. They also have a listing selling it through Universal Mania for $934 with no shipping charge.
However, Newegg has it for $850 with free shipping. That is a very tempting offer. Very tempting indeed.
Edit update - Too tempting. BTW if you order it with a WD10EFRX its only $840 with free shipping.
