Samba4 for acting as built-in AD Server
For some time ReadyNAS boxes have been able to join AD networks and therefore authenticate connections against AD accounts (this is good). Alas despite the fact that Open Directory is based on OpenLDA...
Its a good idea, but I dont know if much progress would be made on it from NTGR. You'd probably have more luck from a community add-on for it. LDAP has long been on the wish list, no progress made.
