Yes. Power down the NAS, and put in the new disks. A factory install should automatically happen.

If you are planning to restore the configuration through frontview, make sure you re-install any addons first you have installed. If you don't, then you will get stuck later on.
As a corollary - if there are add-ons you no longer want, then uninstall them now, and then save the config.
