I have just got a new router. The old router was set to 10.0.0.2 but the new one is set to 192.168.1.1 How do I tell my ReadyNAS Duo that it should no longer be set to 10.0.0.3? When I scan for device...
The quickest way to set up your old router again, connect the NAS and your PC to it. then go into Frontview and reconfigure the DUO to use DHCP. Then switch back to your old router, and you will end up with a 192.168.1.x address.
Another way to connect the NAS directly to your PC, and manually configure your PC IP address to 10.0.0.4 Then you should be able to access the NAS, and change the IP.
If your new router supports address reservation, use that feature instead of assigning the NAS a static address. That will prevent this problem from happening the next time you upgrade your router.
