Swap disks between Rn2120 and RN3138
I would like to replace my end of life RN2120 with a new RN3138. Can I simply pull the existing drives from my rn2120 and put them directly into the new chassis? This saves buying 4 hard drives. Thanks!

You can do that. If you have any apps installed, you need to uninstall them before migration, and reinstall then afterwards. The NAS can switch it's core software from ARM to x86, but it can't do that with the apps.
Personally I'd get new disks for the new NAS,and re-purpose the RN2120 as a backup.
