tcp_ack+633 reoccuring error
ReadyNAS 314 system ReadyNAS 626 on the same network and has had no errors The 314 has had three of these errors in past 6 months. Had to hard reset with removal of power -- device did respond...

No.
Topology is simple one dimensional LAN with clients, router (DHCP server duties) and AP devices, and about 10 fixed IP devices (ReadyNAS units, cameras, etc.)

The tcp_ack+633 is a crash in the NAS software. One possible cause is a failing NIC in the NAS (unfortunately not repairable if that is the case).
I suggest swapping cables with the RN626 just to rule that out (though a failed cable is unlikely). Another thing you can try is switching to the other NIC.

It is something to try.
The issue occurs every two to three months so my initial idea is that cables are not the issue.
NIC failure is a possibility -- I will switch NIC interfaces after the rebuild.
Intermittent hardware failures are a PITA -- no way to actually understand/fix until hard failures start to occur. If it does not work I will repost when the next occurrence happens.

Well, that had unexpected consequences.
I switched NIC interfaces and apparently that causes the ReadyNAS to get a different/new IP address. That in turn then contradicts the prior notion of a fixed IP address for cameras and other devices. Lots of downstream consequences that I did not anticipate.
Is there a way to switch NIC interfaces and retain the same IP?

The two NICs have different MAC addresses. So if you reserved an IP address in your router, which is the preferred method, you need to delete the old one and add the new there. If you set a fixed IP in the NAS, you also need to remove that for the original NIC and add it to the second within the NAS GUI.
