TimeMachine Cant see the NAS

My Mac has been backing up just fine, until the 15th May and now it tried to back up, starts is very slow and the bombs out saying and an error occurred. It may be temporary if the problem persists use Disc Utility to repair your backup disc? (I did not do this because I don't know what a disc utility is or where to find it, on the NAS or on my Internet !)

 

So I set up a new backup location, I can see it from time machine but it says and select it but it says there was a problem connecting to my NAS.

 

I can connect to the admin page, and see it online, have turned my cloud back on from the issue in March for ReadyCloud

 

ANY help and Ideas welcome?

  • I am facing exactly the same problem. Timeline of the problem also coincides (may 2nd half).

    Not sure if this problem was triggered by a ReadyNAS firmware patch or by a Sierra OS patch.
