Trouble starting setup for RAID 0
Hello Im trying to set my Readynas 214 in RAID 0. 3x 3Tb WD Red. Firmware 6.6.0. Connected directly to my ethernet to the back of my PC CAT6 I know how to put the readynas into factor...
Thank you so much! Thats sorted it now! Just a quick question about jbod, will all three disks been seen as completely independant from each other? or will they independant but viewed say from a media server as one complete 9Tb hard drive?

You'd have 3 independent 3 TB volumes, and you'd have to arrange your shares so everthing fits.
Clients will see all the shares, no matter what volume they are on. ReadyDLNA and Plex also don't care what volumes the shares are on (and multiple shares can be included in one plex library).
If you need single volume, it is much better to pay for the extra disk (or bigger disks) and go with XRAID
