Got it all cleaned up, now I get an error attaching the device: System: External storage device 'Seagate ST3000DM003-1F216N' connected, but could not find a known filesystem on it.
I tried re-partitioning and reformatting with no luck. Rebooted and it didn't even see the drive. Reconnected drive to windows and it is clean as a whistle.
