WD Red Drive Head Parking - New Tool from WD
Just learned the Western Digital has posted a new tool on their download page that supposedly helps with the Head Parking issue on these Red Drives. If you go to the WD support page, under downloads, select the SATA & SAS (3.5" drives), then choose the WD RED drive.
You will find a tool called "WD Red SMART load/Unload utility" which they released 12/20/13.
I have not tried this tool (I used the WDIDLE3 tool to solve my Head Parking Issue), but thought I would post this in case someone could use it.

- My load cycle count is increasing about 1 per day. I guess it's not going to be a problem?
