What can I do with a 628 PCIe slot? Add an SSD?
Wondering if I can add an NVMe SSD on a PCIe card?
Will it show up in the admin panel?

I highly doubt.
I have a SATA M.2 in the M.2 slot. It does not show up there.
Most people would think of an graphics card. But it is hard to find one that would fit in the tiny space.
Did you try manually setting up the drive?
Video card drivers might be an issueI mounted it to share.
The good thing is that it persist through factory reset. After factory reset, you need to recreate the share and mount it, add it to fstab.
- I used my m.2 drive to store my local repository. It works perfectly well.
