What has happened to ReadyNAS 400 series?
I have one ReadyNAS 422 that I use for my home data / video backup and wanted to acquire a 424 model so I could increase my capacity. However, these seem to have been discontinued according to all the sellers I've checked with. The Netgear website still lists them however. The 500 series is overkill and too expensive for my purposes and the 200 series doesn't have all the features - nor warranty.
Have I missed something?
Thanks

It's the newest desktop platform, so it would be surprising if it were discontinued. And it's not on the EOL list. But several ReadyNAS models have been out-of-stock on US Amazon over the past couple months (and some others have been scarce and very expensive). My guess is that COVID-19 has disrupted production and distribution, and that Netgear hasn't resolved that for all products yet. But that is speculation on my part.
Are the sellers telling you it's been discontinued? Or are you inferring that from it being out-of-stock?

Thanks for the quick reply. Good to know that it's not on an EOL list. I couldn't find that info.
Most of the companies recommended under "Find a Retailer" links are showing out of stock. But at least CDW is showing them as Discontinued and I thought I saw another retailer showing this previously. Perhaps CDW discontinued carrying it. I'll look again when life returns more to normal.
