what is the max size

Hello,

 

I'm trying to find out the maximun size hard drive that I can install to my RN526x unit.

    There is no known max. An 18 TB drive is on the compatibility list. 

     

    Note Netgear is very sluggish on updating the HCL.  Generally any enterprise or CMR NAS-purposed SATA drives will work (not SAS).  Avoid WD Reds, as they are SMR - but WD Red Plus (as well as Seagate IronWolf) are fine.
