What next
Hi on my thread below I posted I was upgrading to a duo v2 , but didn't realise it was redundant. Looked at 102 , 104 ,and pro can someone offer a suggestion as to what to get . It's for home medi...

The NV units are all legacy, and I wouldn't recommend them for you. The v1 is the same architecture you have now, and is much slower than newer products (and is limited to 2 TB drives). The v2 was replaced by OS6 before the v2 firmware was fully mature, so you would be better off with an RN1xx.
Readynas Surveillance and Photos 2 can both be installed on the RN102/RN104. Piwigo (for photos) is also available, and may be a better choice. In my opinion Netgear support for Surveillance and Photos has been very weak.
