What next
Hi on my thread below I posted I was upgrading to a duo v2 , but didn't realise it was redundant. Looked at 102 , 104 ,and pro can someone offer a suggestion as to what to get . It's for home medi...

IF you wanna go with a readynas as a server for work, I'd clearly look at an intel version. You would have more server software since most servers are intel based (Xeon), I believe virtual box is possible to install (please check this before buying), you'll get a faster CPU and more RAM.
The 102/104 is a pure NAS, it has no video out, so you can access it only by network (web interface, sharing protocols, SSH). Fine for video streaming but don't expect to plug it to the TV. If you have some transcode to do, the 1.2Ghz CPU may be a little short sometimes.
I personnaly have a 104, it shows 90-100Mbytes/s in read and 30-40Mbytes/s in write for large files.
