windows 7 pc freezes as soon as I copy files #24286022
Hi all,
I have a netgear 104 loaded with four 4tb hard disks. I use it on my mac and windows pc. On my mac I can transfer files without any problems. On my windows 7 pc, as soon as I start copying from pc to ready nas or viceversa, the pc freezes.
Has this issue happened to you ?

What brand and model disks are installed? - Hi,
4x Western Digital RED 4TB
and the latest software. 6.2.0
The problem was also persistent on previous versions. - Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my signature)?
- Do you have a backup?
Two of your WD RED 4TB disks have the issue where the Load Cycle Count rises rapidly (see disk_info.log)
Do you have a PC you could connect these two disks to, to run a WD utility to fix this?
