Hi Stephen,
thank you for your fast answer. Any chance to change from 741 GB to 2 TB with this disk? Why choose the ready nas 741 instead of 2 TB?
best regards Zacki

No. The Duo v1 does not support GPT.
3TB disks being seen as having 741GB capacity is a known problem that results from using them in a system in which GPT is not supported.
The Duo v1 was the last of the Sparc models to be released and was released back in 2008. It's the 2-bay version of a product released back in February 2006. The hardware is about 10 years old now.
All our newer models have GPT support.

Hi mdgm,
thanks for support.
Ok, then I have a newer version, because on the bottom I found: ReadyNas Duo RND2150 v2. This is the second version, correct?
Best regards

No, you are running 4.1.14 so you must have a v1. The firmware for the v1 will only run on the v1 not the v2 and vice versa.
You have a Duo v1 hardware revision 2 that came pre-installed with one 500GB disk. See http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
The Duo v2 (runs RAIDiator-arm 5.3.x) has always had GPT support.- ZackiDec 14, 2015Aspirant
Thank you - now it is clear!
