I doubt it. It'd be nice, but on a 4-bay ReadyNas NetGear probably reckons X-RAID2 single-redundancy or RAID-5 is adequate.

Perhaps. I guess it is something they could consider, but they probably already have considered it. Considering the NVX has been out quite a while now, I doubt it'll get RAID-6 or X-RAID2 dual-redundancy support as it hasn't already.

There is also the 3200 and 4200 but they are noisier and more expensive. The Pro does have two extra drive bays (useful for expansion) is faster (has faster CPU), and has an extra memory slot. It is worth considering imo.
