Air Video streaming outside the network?
I've used AirVideo on my PC for a while and love it. I would REAllY love to be able to do all that from my ReadyNas. I've got it up and running well for devices inside the network. In order to get it going outside the network though, I'll need the PIN of the server and perhaps more. Can anyone tell me if this is possible, and if so, how to find that information?
Thanks!
Thanks!

- VoightAspirantI've been curious about remote access functionality myself. But best I can tell the "Remote Pin" option, which shows up in the Windows or OSX version of the Air Video server is not available on the Linux version. Which would necessarily mean that the port for ReadyNAS doesn't support it either.
I believe the only thing you can do would be to reserve a specific address for your ReadyNAS on your router. Then enter in a port forwarding rule into your router for TCP for port 45631 for the IP address of your ReadyNAS. In theory, when your iDevice attempts to access your AirVideo server, it should route to it. But, I have yet to put that theory into practice.
